Review of The Brave One (2007) by Marco C — 13 Dec 2009

Jodie Foster drives home this tale of horrific revenge with amazingly realistic and scary acting, and nails her character's personality very well. Neil Jordan pushes the "protagonist" Erica Bain to her limits through having her mind warped with the desire to avenge her fiance who was brutally murdered for no apparent reason.

Her violent actions come with a price, as she soon finds that she doesn't know who she is, has no one to confide in and mercilessly slaughters anyone who does evil.
