One would think that you'd get tired of watching jodie foster in a victim movie. however, jodie foster isn't the same person with each character and so it works each time. this movie is unique in that it it doesn't just look at the physical impacts of becoming a victim of violence but looks at, as the movie says, how victims fill the hole left by the violence and how easy it seems to be to become the aggressor after being subjected to aggression.

I didn't like the end of the movie but what can you do.
