Review of The Brass Teapot (2012) by Jason F — 29 Oct 2013
Not very often do I put aside my critical brain long enough to really let my suspension of disbelief shine through, but I'd be damned if this movie didn't kick my normally overly critical brain to the curb.
While being far from perfect, there is no denying that The Brass Teapot is a fabulously well executed film, featuring a linear and coherent plot that maintains viewer interest and empathy with its likable characters. While this movie is far from perfect (I.e. The jewish assassins, Arlie, the occasionally preachy allegorical message, etc.) the movie isfun to watch, and extremely thought provoking.
This movie is just straight up, natural fun. No strings attached. And you don't even need to hurt yourself to enjoy it.
