Review of The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962) by Kate S — 03 Nov 2007
These low-budget, pulpy sci fi movies were a dime a dozen in the 50's and 60's. There is nothing particularly notable about this one about a doctor who keeps the decapitated head of his girlfriend alive in his secret lab until he can lure an unsuspecting woman to the house so that he can transplant his girlfriend's head onto her body.
However, there is some amusement in seeing how a scientist who has been experimenting with transplants is portrayed as mad in this age of cloning human organs from stem cells.
