Review of The Boys of St. Vincent (1994) by Jon H — 11 Nov 2007
Extremely well-made, but difficult to watch (mainly due to the subject matter). Henry Czerny is simply frightening realistic as an abusive Christian brother (and later family man) whose actions border on sociopathic.
ps, I'm also in this (in the "15 Years Later" part, I'm the kid who goes for communion twice!) (by the way, although inspired by some true life events, this is not, in the strictest sense, based on a true story!).
