Review of The Boys from Brazil (1978) by Jeff B — 31 May 2007
Okay, getting past the weird concept, it was a pretty good movie with excellent performances from Gregory Peck and Laurence Olivier. The young actor Jeremy Black wasn't the greatest actor, but then again, he did have to play multiple roles with multiple accents and he was only 15 or so (and he's currently credited as having worked on Fast Food Nation).
I never thought Peck could play such an evil character, but he really pulled it off. And I just read that Brett Ratner is gonna direct a remake of it. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
