Review of The Boys from Brazil (1978) by Randy B — 30 Jun 2007
This is a decent effort at an excellent book by Ira Levin. The main strength of the film is like that of the book - the concept is both original and chilling. Gregory Peck and Laurence Olivier give excellent if rather hammy performances.
It is a very accurate rendition of the book - almost exactly how I imagined it would be. Probably best summed up by saying its a pretty good late 70's thriller.
