Review of The Boys from Brazil (1978) by Andrew W — 29 Sep 2009
This film has aged well, clearly set in a specific period and none the worse for that. Strong performances from Lawrence Olivier as the aging Nazi-Hunter and Gregory Peck in one of his most sinister and terrifying roles as Josef Mengele. Good support from James Mason.
The young boy is slightly irritating, but arguably that is part of the role. Pure hokum but enjoyable none-the-less.
