Review of The Boys from Brazil (1978) by Hendrik J — 20 Jan 2010
An all star cast does their best in a so-so adaptation of Ira Levin's best seller about a plot by latter day nazis to clone Hitler. Gregory Peck plays Josef Mengele (who at the time of production was an actual sought-after war criminal), which Bruno Ganz (who would actually play Hitler a quarter of a century later in Downfall) is on the good guys, as a scientist who explains "Cloning For Dummies".
Worth a look, but not as entertaining as it should be.
