Review of The Boys from Brazil (1978) by Jack P — 15 Dec 2012
Although I thought the acting in this movie was quite good (some of the all-time greatest actors are here, afterall), the acting could do notthing to save it. The plot premise is just too weird and creepy, not to mention totally unbelievable.
Hard to see how these actors would agree to appear in this movie. Many of the scenes went on and on to no purpose. And (spoiler alert) Josef Mengele in a fist fight with Simon Wiesenthal, oops, Ezra Lieberman, in Amish country? Give me a break!
