Review of The Boys Are Back (2009) by Chris S — 08 Jun 2010
The premise is that a man's wife died, leaving him to take care of his child and figure out how to connect with him and be more than just a father figure. In his attempt to become a father, he also reunites with his other son from a failed marriage.
It's not exactly original by any stretch of the imagination, but it was pretty good. It's kind of like Grace is Gone, but without having the lead be so awkward. And with a better soundtrack. Sigur Ros songs are perfect for this film.
