Review of The Boy Next Door (2015) by Vasco M — 24 Oct 2015
Not being overly familiar with the romantic psycho thriller genre allowed me to enjoy this movie somewhat, I think. While it has some suspenseful moments, it can be glaringly unrealistic and cliche. Suffice to say, Jennifer Lopez and Ryan Guzman are both good actors, but this movie doesn't rise above the charming neighbour with a knife that turns out to be mental and ends up in a barn.
