Review of The Boy in the Plastic Bubble (1976) by Matt M — 12 Jan 2013
A boy, normal in every other way, was born without an immune system and as a result had to live in a plastic bubble all his life. After he becomes romantically attracted to his next door neighbour girl, he struggles to find a way to be with her.
The film is sloppy from start to end, and the TV production is just rushed and doesn't look too good. However, Travolta's early performance is a treat and he is really able to carry the film.
