Review of The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story (2019) by Jpeggy — 17 Aug 2019
I didnt' like this movie.
It doesnt seem truthfull. It seemed like it presents it self like a documentary but it seems more like a hit piece on lou Pearlman its one sided. We only got people in the boy bands giving their side of the story of what happened and a lot of the stuff sems, far fetched unbelievable and from the perspective of both nsync who won the steleent again him and backstreet boys and they were compensated at the end of the day. why not name the acts who did get scammed and didnt get compensated. What about all the black boy bands in the 50's and 60s who never got paid. They got paid and as a matter of fact none of the people who were featured looked like they were doing bad, they all just look like a bunch of cry babies thats all. They story was unfair. This has been done to black artists for century but it was much worse for them and they never got any money at all.
