Review of The Boy and the Beast (2015) by Tofewviews — 26 Jun 2016
This movie is Directed by the same person that brought us The Digimon Movie, Summer Wars and Wolf Children. He has a great record with animated movies and this is no different. This movie doesn't show it's self off the start and it's hard to tell what it's trying to be about in the beginning.
Once it opens up, it becomes a movie about a boy and his master trying to train him, but it's a blurred line of who is teaching who. They both help each other grow and would never reach their true potential without each other.
The animation is beautiful as expected and very original. This film touches on so many subjects and keeps you interested the whole way through. There isn't much of a negative side to this movie, sometimes dialog drags on but nothing to ruin the experience.
