Basically: it pretends to go further and do "something else", but it doesn't explore this, instead you can see in the movie the same strategies and topics that we already got bored to see.
*Spoiler alert*.
It seems the typical horror movie, but it goes a little bit further. Despite this it's not so good, and there are still some details to fix (like why doesn't she leave at the very beginning?). Also, it seems it takes ideas from different movies (Chucky, Phantom of the Opera, any hunted house story...) creating something that feels too foolish.
