The Boy is an exercise in the classic Hitchcock style suspense. It's fun and has moments of greatness. Where it stumbles is on its supporting cast. Overall it was enjoyable but won't have you leaving the theatre with memories for years to come like the Hitchcockian style films it aspires to be.
