The Boxtrolls is the weakest of Laika's productions, yet it's still a worthwhile watch that shows off a meticulously attractive visual show. Albeit I still question how a movie with a bit over the top creepiness is meant for a young audience (this stuff would have given me nightmares if I were still a child).
