The Boxtrolls is a quirky story about a boy, Eggs, who was raised by a community of Boxtrolls. They live their lives underground until the town's villain, Archibald Snatcher, decides to get rid of all the Boxtrolls.
The Boxtrolls is a stop-motion animation film with a kid-friendly story yet has very dark undertones. The villain is scary. The Boxtrolls are adorable and goofy. Eggs is a spectacular young boy full of love.
I wish this movie received better attention from critics.
