Review of The Boxtrolls (2014) by Connor D — 19 Feb 2015

"The Boxtrolls" is, to be fair, an okay movie. It definitely has its moments, especially towards the end. It tells about a boy that believes he is a boxtroll, a troll that, well, uses a box as its body and hides in it once there is danger around.

Again, there are times when this film is a real good time, but there are also times when it drags on with boring story development and not enough fun. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a good animated film to watch with your kids.

I'd say stick to "The LEGO Movie" or "How to Train Your Dragon 2" for the good 2014 animated movies. 5.8/10.
