1997's "The Boxer" pairs up Director Jim Sheridan with Actor Daniel Day-Lewis for the third time. The other two brilliant films being 1989's "My Left Foot" and 1993's "In the Name of the Father".
"The Boxer" does not let us down. Its a beautifully told drama/love story. The acting is superb but subtle. The story telling is smooth and elegant. Overall...another Daniel Day-Lewis film that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
He truly is fantastic!
