Second Viewing: Love it!
First Viewing: A mixed bag. At times thoroughly creepy and thought provoking, at others silly and kind of stupid. Overall, I appreciate this film - as well as Donnie Darko and Southland Tales - because they come from such a preposterous perspective. There's not many filmmakers doing exactly what Richard Kelly is doing. He's able to tell a bizarre story in a pretty compelling way.
At least it's better than the lame short story.
