Review of The Box (2009) by Aaron R — 24 Apr 2011
Kelley earns some points back after the woeful arrogant train wreck that was Southland Tales here. A Hitchcockian twisted thriller with the most ludicrous plot developments you're likely to see in this 'little' thriller genre.
But the sense of preposterousness only heightens the tension as this 1976 set flick unspools. Diaz and Marsden are serviceable but it's Langella who rules the roost.
