Review of The Box (2009) by Josh M — 22 Mar 2012
No more believable than the X-Files series, but just as enjoyable, maybe more satisfying. I found myself at odds with their decisions at times, more than I do usually, this is the mark of a great film, when you're drawn in, when you meld with the actions and consequences, when you're compelled to put yourself in their shoes.
What's great is how you can relate to your own impulse to push the button. You didn't have that? C'mon, be honest. ;o) Well, if I had 24 hours to think about it, I don't think I would have.
By the way it was great seeing Cameron Diaz in a serious role, she did great and her slight southern accent was just right.
