Fans of Kelly and his cult-classic's are likely to adore this movie. I personally am a huge fan of Donnie Darko and when I watch The Box I can see glimpses of Richard Kelly's style a la Donnie Darko pouring through.
Much in the way that Donnie Darko was a mainstream failure but a cult-classic, I think "The Box" will be the same. I was constantly entertained, intrigued and never sure what to expect next.
Thank you Kelly for another bizarre, imaginative and satisfying movie, it saved me from watching Donnie Darko for the 47th time.
