Review of The Box (2009) by Nikki Alice L — 15 Jul 2013

I found The Box to be a pleasant surprise. I must admit that the poor reception on this site left me apprehensive, but I actually really enjoyed in a legitimate way unlike some other films I've seen in which I only enjoyed them for camp value.

While the film can be hokey, I found it to be intriguing and really interesting in the ways that it blends sci-fi, thriller, and a moral dilemma all neatly wrapped together in one package. To me, The Box is a tremendously underrated thriller that I hope will be better appreciated in the years to come.
