Review of The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) by Paul R — 17 Jan 2013
This is the third and (unfortunately no longer) final installment of the fantastic Bourne Trilogy. I cannot understand why anyone would want to spoil an almost perfect trilogy with an unnecessary 4th film.
I for one am glad that Matt Damon will not be featuring. Anyway - enough of my ranting and back to the film. Jason Bourne is what we always wished Bond would be like. This is the third installment of a super stylish spy thriller trilogy that simply must be seen.
It's full of ultra realistic performances, amazing locations and twists and turns. We follow Jason Bourne as he continues to piece together his forgotten past. The pace is relentless and Paul Greengrass' direction is amazing, every shot puts you thick into the action and you feel like you are there with Bourne himself.
As you have come to expect from the Bourne films the fight choreography is brilliant and the stunt work is astounding. No matter how many times I watch these films they always impress and this is a great final chapter to one of the greatest trilogies of all time.
