Review of The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) by Panos M — 10 Aug 2013
Matt Damon makes a third appearance in the Robert Ludlum inspired espionage novels. One bit of warning: the first two thirds of the film occur before the final scene of the previous film - The Bourne Supremacy - as Jason Bourne continues his search of information about his past and for those to turned him into a CIA assassin.
The Bourne Ultimatum was an excellent action movie taking us on a non stop high speed chase to Moscow, London, Tangier and New York. It was a fitting end to the Bourne trilogy. The plot line could have been plucked from today's headlines, e.g., intelligence agents going rogue to turn over intelligence to the enemy, the CIA monitoring all telephone communications and CCTV cameras. This is one of the best action trilogies ever made. I highly recommend this film and this entire trilogy to everyone.
