Review of The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) by Adam B — 23 Oct 2014
83%.
Unlike the other films in the series, The Bourne Ultimatum has an entirely forgettable plot and at that field it's a disappointment. Julia Stiles, her part in the movie and her kind of relationship was totally unnecessary for the movie. Matt Damon still continues to be good, but during the stunt scenes, it's clearly identifiable that he does not do any of it because of the poor editing and bad choice of doubles. However, the first half, especially the opening half an hour of the movie is really awesome. But the film's second half seems to run around purposefully on cliches that are adopted from the second film, especially the car chase scenes towards the climax. Joan Allen seems to be a relief in the middle of all this.
