Review of The Bourne Supremacy (2004) by Simon B — 16 Apr 2012
"The Bourne Supremacy is a very good sequel, and while I still preferred the original for it's more burdening and heavy events, this elaborates on the things done right in the first film. The film is super fast-paced and suspenseful and the camerawork shows this rather well, if a little too hyper and cut heavy than I would like.
We pick up where we left off in "The Bourne Identity" and find Jason Bourne along with his girl Marie having to make a quick getaway after being discovered even though they are "off the grid".
We are left with Bourne alone trying to avenge not only the wrongs done to him by the agency but for taking the one thing that gave him peace. Ensuing chases, shootouts and death are to follow and are smartly done which elevate this from just a cut and dry action film.
