Review of The Bourne Supremacy (2004) by Dov D — 17 Sep 2013
Paul Greengrass's directorial debut into the Bourne franchise disappoints. In just about every way, this film is worse than Identity; however, that doesn't mean that there's not plenty to enjoy here.
The acting is on par with the first and the action sequences/car chases reach completely ridiculous levels, but the story just didn't do it for me. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed this film, but it's definitely the low point of the original trilogy (though much much much better than Legacy).
Bottom line, this is an entertaining popcorn flick that most people will enjoy. I'd recommend it, but only if you've seen the first.
