Review of The Bourne Supremacy (2004) by James W — 01 Nov 2013
Faster, more explosive than the Bourne Identity, and Matt Damon is a lot more exciting to watch this time around. The fight scenes keep getting better and better, especially when Bourne fights against Jarda using a rolled up magazine, how inventive and badass is that! Then Bourne uses that same magazine to cause an explosion, the epicness continues in a fierce car chase between our main protagonist and Karl Urban's mysterious spy Kirill.
The action is more fierce and it's more memorable than the first, it's unusual for a sequel to excel the original. Joan Allen is amazing, she never disappoints, same with Julia Stiles and Franka Potente is great too, she should be a future Bond girl! Fantastic movie, a continuously improving franchise.
