Review of The Bourne Legacy (2012) by Nate F — 15 Dec 2013
Never thought I could like it without a Matt Damon. Did not realize that the " 'Legacy" meant it was a successor to Jason Bourne. Found Renner compelling in this new action role. See Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz to have set the sexiest take on an action thriller for 2012 or any other year.
No undressing, no passionate love scenes, simply a sort of tenderness between them while Aaron Cross survives his "viraling off" his government-issue "blues". Then with that much as a lead-in there is that closing scene when Dr.
Shearing says she "kind of hoped we were lost . . . ." That statement and the looks between them is absolutely smashing. A top combination in a well thought out set of action sequences.
