Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by Greg B — 18 Nov 2012
The Bourne Identity is fairly standard. It has decent action sequences and a decent plot, so it's a decent film. But it lacks the proper explanation to it's plot and relies on the second two in the trilogy to make sense of it, and there are periods of boredom through it as it attempts to infuse drama into the film. It also has occassional moments of cliche and attempts to minimilise them.
The best praise I could give would be to Matt Damon's great performance, the general thrilling atmosphere and the fact that i'm eager to complete the trilogy and have my questions answered.
