Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by Danburrito — 27 Jul 2016
The Bourne Identity is an interesting, well-made and thrilling start to the Jason Bourne franchise. Matt Damon fits the title role perfectly, and the script manages to focus on both action and character development.
It's certainly the least propulsive of the franchise, but nevertheless, there are still plenty of impressive action scenes to keep you on the edge of your seat. Overall, The Bourne Identity kicks off the Bourne franchise with a fun spy thriller that features a charismatic performance from Matt Damon.
