Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by Steve B — 14 Sep 2012
A great movie with a good combination of intriguing story, driving and fighting sequences, spy tactics and action sequences. An up to date spy/assassin movie that is taken from the Robert Ludlum character and stories.
A fitting musical score and soundtrack. The detail in the movie how Bourne sees the world, his observations, intuitions and instinct are all captured not to mention his ability to stand his ground in some amazing fight scenes.
It's great to follow his story and picking up the threads of his past via clues and insight and finally getting to the truth of who and what he is. Amazing mini car chase through the streets, fight scene with 'Castel' and brilliant use of mobile phones, gadgets and technology as well as manipulating his environment.
