Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by Patrick M — 13 Dec 2012
...finally enjoyed this thriller ~ Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) tries to piece together the pieces of his former life after he is found floating in the Mediterranean with two bullets in his back. Assisted, reluctantly at first, by Marie (Franka Potente), he makes his way to Paris from Zurich, where the threads begin to slowly come together.
It's fast moving and high tech, and Damon leads the way convincingly. The European backdrop add to the appeal of the film, and the car chase through Paris was brilliant. It builds up to a good climax, and there is a good twist in the tale.
Glad I've finally seen it.
