Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by Yash B — 17 Jul 2016
An intriguing and action-packed spy thriller. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat considering nearly every scene has some form of action. The second it starts you're just hooked and you are searching for answers with Jason Bourne.
I think the action scenes are well shot and the performances are also very good. Matt Damon definitely proved himself capable as an action star many years ago. It's my least favorite of the original trilogy but that in no way means its a bad movie.
It's just surpassed by its sequels. I still think it has the best mystery and it does a good job setting up the franchise. A thriller with a brain and a lot of intrigue, a great movie.
