Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by Roberto L — 04 Sep 2012
The whole "Who am I?" formula has been used a couple of times in the filmmaking business (Total Recall) and it's definitely not getting old.
The Bourne Identity smartly shows the ongoing life of Jason Bourne who tries to find out who he is and why are certain things happening to him. It is an entertaining and satisfying action packed flick that delivers with both acting and story telling without spoiling to much for the future sequels.
Matt Damon as Jason Bourne seems credible and actually the perfect fit as a dangerous spy/assasin. But I don't find Marie's character, portrayed by Franka Potente, as interesting and credible.
The first chapter of the original Bourne trilogy is a fast paced-action-packed picture that is a worth seeing piece of work.
