Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by John Eric D — 02 Jun 2015
The first part of the well made suspense action film trilogy. Story started as Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is still searching for his true identity as where he is came from, and how did it all happened. Something is really going on with him and his relationship with the project named Threadstone.
As this is a novel from Ludlum. It kinda reminds me of some Tom Clancy's element to the whole story. The whole asset of the film is Matt Damon, I mean Matt Damon as Jason Bourne really defines its character as Damon bring Bourne to life.
He is superbly great in it, not just in his acting performance but the whole choreography of fighting skills like he is really is a super agent and he nailed in every moves and every action scenes. Film is maybe slow sometimes with its pacing but the moment when chases begins, I'm pretty sure it will get you excited after all.
Awesome start from the most exciting dark action suspense flick trilogy. A must have blu-ray. And it is "bourne" to be terrific. 4 out 5 stars.
