Review of The Bourne Identity (2002) by Abhinandhan D — 30 Jul 2012
Solid spy movie that I just had to rewatch for the upcoming millionth sequel. Apparently this is a remake too of an 88 movie thats on my list and in my library waiting for a watch. Somehow I think Matt Damon does a better job than Richard Chamberlan.
This movie however has plenty of great action and doesnt ever really go too far over the top, and when it does (the dead guy stairwell scene) youre 100% fine with it because of how solid it's been up to that point.
The rest of the series in my opinion arent very good but I havent seen them for a while so i'll give em a rewatch before I see Legacy and or rate them. Also meet the Zohan was awful but I enjoyed it.
That piece of information had nothing to do with anything but I shared it with you and your welcome. As far as spy movies/stories go this is definitely somewhere in the top 20 if not the top ten and it inspired me when I saw it in high school to do really heavy shrugs to get traps like matt damon who i'm pretty sure had to do either steroids or hgh in the time following because his voice sounds chipmunk like in Identity and deep in the rest.
