Review of The Bounty (1984) by Phil K — 03 Feb 2008
This is a well done re-telling of the Mutiny on the Bounty with Mel Gibson in the role of Fletcher Christian and Anthony Hopkins as William Bligh. I did think this movie was underrated some what even though it's no match for the 1962 classic.
It does have stunning cinematography thanks to the great british cinematographer Arthur Ibbetson, and is hauntingly scored by Vangelis.
