Review of The Botany of Desire (2009) by Trent R — 08 Oct 2010
Marvelous doc with actually engaging voice over narration by McDormand, and some mildly sharp cheese in a few background reenactments and historical montages. The application of natural selection to plant-human interactions provokes an interesting socio-historical overview of select species, which is brief but has a fun revisionist edge.
