It has a genius baby who is ambitious to aim high and dare to speak out loud but slap his own face due to its secret formula that is so generic and familiar. The plot is definitely thin, it spends more time on its silliness just like Storks, bombarding young audiences with chasing sequences and diverts from its original intention to deliver strong lessons about love and teamwork.

While the film itself may appear as a toddler, it has a few lines of laughter, full of cuteness, tolerable fun and boundless energy that prove infectious for all ages. Baldwin's domineering vocalization as the arrogant boss baby definitely steals most of the moment with his grown up hilarious acts but adorable appearance while the hyperactive visual effects and sophisticated scores from Hans Zimmer along with Steve Mazzaro all sum up as an amusing animated comedy about sibling rivalry.

It definitely lack the finesse and originality of Pixar, falls in the same category of those from Illumination Pictures as a general animated fare but the results is still an entertaining, colorful and easygoing family comedy.
