I expected the absolute worst with the boss baby but surprisingly the film is not as bad as I anticipated. Sure the plot is all over the place and a lot of it is quite weird and doesn't make totally sense but kids and adults should find something here to enjoy.
The voice talent is very well done and the animation is very good. It starts off a bit slow but the second half is much better than the first. It's not DreamWorks best picture by far but you can do a lot worse than this.
Think emoji movie, nutjob 2, etc.
