I took my 4-year-old to see Boss Baby in 3D...turns out that was only a slightly better decision than just throwing $30 right in the trash. Like much of Dreamworks Animation's lesser films, it strives for Pixar but only gets halfway there; it's funny and vibrant, but thematically shallow and hardly clever.
