Review of The Boss Baby (2017) by Faris N — 15 Jun 2017
"It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see." - Henry David Thoreau.
An eternal comment on the inner workings of nuclear families in the shadow of ever-growing corporations, The Boss Baby is a poignant retrospective inspired by the morals of early Pixar but with a cultural twist on its basis; indeed, DreamWorks were right in saying that we have layers in Shrek (2002) for this film is nothing but a prime example of the complicated and often paradoxical relationship between brothers. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll live this movie.
10/10.
