Review of The Boss (2016) by Wcrosher — 07 Apr 2016

While Melissa McCarthy plays her typical Melissa McCarthy role well, and there are a few scenes that were truly funny, The Boss ends up being a very cliché film with an absurd third act. The movie, quite simply, falls apart in the last half hour and becomes way bigger than it ever had to be, and the film suffers quite a bit for that.

There are a good amount of laugh out loud moments, but there are just as many duds, and the plot can't make up for them.
