Absolutely hysterical. An improvement on the first film in nearly every aspect. An original and stylish shoot em up caper masterpiece. Director Troy Duffy has hit gold once again. Boondock Saints 2 is a riveting and gut busting funny actioner that entertains like nothing that I've seen for awhile. It's an explosion of top notch humor, bullets, blood, and violence. I mean this movie is seriously funny.
Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus are back and better than ever, these two belong in movies together. The Saints are joined by newcomer Clifton Collins Jr, who is terrific throughout. Julie Benz is just as great as she is gorgeous. Battling the mafia and cleaning up the streets of Boston once again, the saints do their thing better than ever.
Originality explodes from these films, they are both truly like nothing else out there. Compelling, riveting, and most of all stylish with plenty of shootouts and blood to go around for everyone. I'm a huge fan of these films, and lookin foreward to Boondock Saints 3. Keep em comin..
