Review of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009) by Jessy T — 21 Jun 2010
Despite Troy Duffy having plenty of time to make something worthy of following the original, the end result is this sloppy, tacky sequel. Extremely campy and over-the-top (and not even in the artistic cheesy-cool way of the first one), I found it so insulting and boring, that I went to bed half way through the film.
However, my boyfriend convinced me to watch the second half: the ending made the film mediocre as opposed to horrible. Willem Dafoe's cameo was a welcome diversion, but it couldn't save this flick from being so damned disappointing.
